Penerapan Media Loose Parts Untuk Mengembangkan Kreativitas Pada Anak Usia Dini Di TK Diponegoro 173 Purwokerto Selatan
Abstract
The application of loose parts media in early childhood learning is an innovative strategy to develop children's creativity. Because teachers see the problem of children getting tired easily, decreasing children's interest in learning, boredom during learning. From here, this study is motivated by the importance of creativity in the development of early childhood and the lack of use of loose parts media as a learning tool in Diponegoro 173 Kindergarten, South Purwokerto. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the application of loose parts media in developing early childhood creativity. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation at Diponegoro 173 Kindergarten, South Purwokerto, interviews with the principal, teachers, and children, and documentation in the form of loose part media works. The results of the study indicate that the use of loose parts media effectively encourages children to (1) Have a high curiosity and imagination, (2) Produce works, (3) Have a sense of responsibility, (4) Like to experiment, (5) Try new things, (6) Tend to do independent experiments. In addition, teachers act as facilitators in guiding children to utilize various loose parts materials optimally. Thus, the application of loose parts media can be an interesting and innovative learning alternative in supporting the development of early childhood in TK Diponegoro 173 Purwokerto Selatan.
