Abstract

Selection Session is a fun literacy activity intended for early childhood to develop language skills and process simple information. This study aims to describe the activities of the Selection Session by focusing on methods and activities to develop early childhood literacy. This research used a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through observation. Interview, and documentation. Data were processed through data reduction, display, and conclusion. For data validity, triangulation techniques were used.

The results of this study can be described as follows: Selection Session is a corner model activity that develops language and communication aspects, such as children being able express their feelings and desires. Children can receive understand, and have the ability to process and respond to any information they receive, they can build conversations and participate in other activities.
