<p>Despite a solid understanding of linguistic structures, many students continue to struggle with<br>speaking Arabic fluently and confidently. The Qatar Foundation method emerges as a strategic response to<br>this issue by fostering fluency and self-assurance through interactive, communication-based techniques.<br>This research investigates how the method is implemented to strengthen Arabic speaking proficiency and<br>evaluates its effectiveness within the Best Speaker class of the Natiq Arabiyah program in Pare, Kediri.<br>Employing a quantitative research design with eight participants, data were gathered via interviews,<br>observation, testing, and documentation. Analysis was conducted using a one-sample t-test. The results<br>show that applying the Qatar Foundation method strategically contributes to significant improvements in<br>students' speaking abilities. This approach aligns with the Natiq curriculum while promoting critical<br>thinking. Its effectiveness is validated through five performance indicators: fluency, accuracy, tajweed,<br>movement, and expressive delivery—with a t-test result (5.170 > 2.306) that confirms its impact.<br>Accordingly, the Qatar Foundation method is recognized as a highly effective approach for enhancing Arabicspeaking skills in this instructional context</p>Siti Farhani, Restu Budiansyah Rizki

<p><em>The background of this research focuses on the song Tamalli Ma'ak by Amr Diab, which is famous for its meaningful and emotional lyrics. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the sentences in the lyrics of Tamalli Ma'ak that illustrate the theme of love and longing. This song was chosen as the object of study because of its ability to convey deep feelings through simple yet powerful language. Using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic approach, this research analyzes the relationship between signifier and signified in the lyrics, which function as signs with hidden meanings. The results show that the lyrics of Tamall Ma'ak are not only a linguistic aesthetic expression, but also reflect strong emotional longing and commitment, depicting emotional attachment despite being physically separated. Through semiotic analysis, it was found that these lyrics depict the power of love that is eternal and transcends the boundaries of space. The findings are expected to provide readers with new insights into how language in music can be used as a means to convey complex feelings, as well as enrich semiotic studies in the context of Arabic popular music.</em></p>Rahmat Mulya Nugraha, Alwah Asaniah

<p>Al Qur’an kaya akan struktur sintaksis, morfologi, dan keindahan retorika, sayangnya penguasaan aspek linguistik khususnya <em>nahwu</em>, <em>sharaf</em> dan <em>balaghah</em> sering kali di abaikan dalam tafsir kontemporer dan berpotensi menimbulkan kekeliruan dan ketidaktepatan makna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan secara sistematis dan tematis kontribusi <em>nahwu</em>, <em>sharaf</em>, dan <em>balaghah</em> sebagai unsur pokok gramatikal Arab dalam menafsirkan ayat‑ayat Al‑Qur’an, serta membuktikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pemahaman Al Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbasis penelitian pustaka <em>(library research)</em> dengan pendekatan <em>kualitatif‑deskriptif</em>. Data diambil dari ayat‑ayat Al‑Qur’an yang bernuansa kebahasaan dan ditafsirkan melalui pendekatan linguistik klasik dan kontemporer. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik dalam tiga bagian: struktur sintaksis kalimat (<em>nahwu</em>), struktur morfologis kata (<em>sharaf</em>), dan struktur retorika bahasa (<em>balaghah</em>). Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) analisis <em>nahwu</em> yang mendalam mampu mencegah kesalahpahaman dalam penafsiran Al Qur’an seperti pada QS. Fāṭir:28, QS Al Fatihah:2. (<em>2</em>) analisis <em>sharaf</em> berperan menjelaskan nuansa temporal (kejelasan waktu), pelaku, dan bentuk abstrak kata seperti bentuk fi‘il mudhāri‘ dalam QS. Fatir: 28, QS Al Baqarah:2, QS AL Fatihah:3, dan (3) analisis <em>balaghah</em> membantu memperluas pemahaman makna implisit tafsir dan memberikan kontribusi kuat terhadap internalisasi pesan spiritual dan moral Al Qur’an seabgaimana dalam QS. Fatir: 28. QS. Al Baqarah: 2. Al Fatihah: 5 dan Al Baqarah: 187. Dengan demikian, <em>nahwu, sharaf,</em> dan <em>balaghah</em> menjadi kesatuan fondasi tafsir Al Qur’an yang menghasilkan pemahaman terhadap Al Qur’an yang lebih tepat, mendalam, dan kontekstual.</p>Muhammad Rifqi Ridho, Abu Bakar

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dinamika pengajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam konteks lintas budaya di Pondok Pesantren YPKP Sentani melalui pendekatan etnolinguistik. Sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berada di wilayah multikultural Papua, pondok pesantren ini menjadi ruang pertemuan berbagai latar belakang etnis, bahasa, dan budaya. Studi ini menyoroti bagaimana interaksi budaya lokal dengan bahasa Arab memengaruhi proses pembelajaran, strategi pengajaran, serta persepsi santri terhadap bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa agama dan ilmu. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab di pesantren ini tidak hanya berlangsung sebagai transfer linguistik semata, tetapi juga sebagai proses negosiasi budaya. Penggunaan istilah-istilah lokal dalam pengantar pembelajaran, adaptasi metode pengajaran terhadap konteks budaya Papua, serta internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam melalui bahasa Arab menjadi bagian dari strategi etnolinguistik yang efektif. Studi ini merekomendasikan pendekatan pengajaran yang sensitif budaya dan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di lingkungan multikultural.</p>Annisa' Fatmayanti, Lina Husnul Karimah, Ramdhan Yurianto
